Daisies
I've long wanted to do a photographic homage to this scene from one of my favourite films, Věra Chytilová's "Daisies", 1966. Central European films from this decade rank high on the list of things to inspire me, and I recommend that anybody not familiar with this cinematic niche familiarise themselves straight away. I worked together with Sophia Louise Sawyer and Annabelle Sinnott to somewhat loosely recreate the set and fashion--taking our own interpretive liberties, this is what we came up with:
